About the site owner
Hello, I'm heartgrooooove. Or you can call me Beth. This is my personal website. I'm a 25+ year old living in Scotland, UK.
I enjoy creating art as a hobby, though I occasionally take commissions too. If you're interested in commissioning me then I suggest sending me an email during the end of June or throughout July.
Frequently asked questions
➤ What can I use your art for?
You may use my art for:
- icons and headers on social media websites or forums
- wallpapers for computers, phones, and tablets
- prints/posters for home use
You do not have to specifically ask me for permission to do any of the above. Please give credit if you decide to use my art as a profile picture or header on social media. You may crop my art to use as a profile picture or header, but please refrain from further editing it (e.g. using adjustment layers, removing text, etc.). Please do not use commissioned art as profile pictures and such unless you yourself are the individual who commissioned it. If you wish to translate one of my comics into another language and publicly repost it then please contact me beforehand.
➤ What do you use for drawing?
I use Clip Paint Studio on a 3rd generation 12.9 inch iPad Pro with an ELECOM screen protector for all of my drawings. I used to use a Wacom Bamboo tablet, but I decided to go for an upgrade after several years of using it.
➤ What brushes do you use? What are your pen settings?
You can download my main brushes here. These are all custom brushes that I made, with some of the brush tips and textures being from other brush packs I previously downloaded (unfortunately I have downloaded so many brush packs that I'm not sure which brush tips and textures belong to which... if you know, please tell me so I can credit accordingly). I do use other brushes from time to time like screentone and paper texture brushes, but the aforementioned ones are the brushes I use most of the time.
My pen pressure settings are here. I use a 2nd generation Apple Pencil as my stylus.
➤ Why do some of your artworks look different on other social media websites?
Sometimes once I upload my art online I see bunch of mistakes or things I want to change about it. So on websites where I can change the image of a post (e.g. Tumblr) I'll swap out the old version with an updated drawing, but on sites where I can't change the image (e.g. Twitter) I have no choice but to leave it as is (sometimes I'll just delete it and re-upload it).
All drawings uploaded onto this website are the final versions.
➤ What happened to your NSFW works? Will you post NSFW again in the future?
I used to have a NSFW Twitter account that I used for uploading my explicit NSFW art. I deleted the account a few years ago because I hardly ever logged into it and I barely uploaded anything to it. I didn't bother saving my NSFW works as I didn't particularly care much for them.
I'm not opposed to drawing NSFW works again but currently I am quite content with just drawing non-NSFW stuff.
➤ What is your username based on?
It's based on this VOCALOID song by Suketch-P. When I was originally signing up for Twitter, "heartgroove" had already been taken so I added in the three extra "o"s.
➤ Why am I blocked by you on [x] social media? Can I be unblocked?
I block fairly frequently across all of my social media platforms in order to curate my online space. In the past I used to utilise mass blocking tools like secateur, so there is a chance you may have been blocked unintentionally.
That being said, I do not plan on unblocking people so please respect my boundaries and refrain from asking me to unblock you, and please do not attempt to follow or engage with me using alternative accounts.
